Nekrolog Henry Boegh, 85, formerly a resident of Thunder Bay, passed away peacefully at his home in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia on Saturday, June 28th. He was born on June 5, 1929 to the late Axel and Clara Boegh of Port Arthur, Ontario and is pre-deceased by his loving wife Marjorie. Henry, known as Hank to many of his friends, graduated from Hillcrest High School and worked as a journeyman pipefitter for the Port Arthur Shipyards and in various mill projects in the Thunder Bay region for many years. He and his wife Marjorie eventually settled in the Current River area and together they raised three children in the house that Hank himself designed and built. In 1979 Henry and Marjorie moved to Kelowna, British Columbia where he continued to work until retiring at the age of 60. After Marjorie passed away in 1996 he moved on to Victoria, and finally Brentwood Bay, where he continued to live and love happily with family until his passing. He is survived by, and will be greatly missed by, his daughter Karen Boegh and son-in-law Lance Gardiner, daughter Gail and son-in-law Rob Tustin, son Michael, sisters Clara and Linda, grand daughters Amanda and Stephanie Tustin and many nephews, nieces, friends and other relatives. If they so wish, friends and relatives are happily invited to send donations to the BC Wildlife Federation in lieu of flowers. Internment in Thunder Bay will take place at a later date.
